I was a Hair Stylist for almost 30 years and after a while, my profession created chronic back and shoulder pain. On my days off I could barely get out of the bed, lying there icing and heating my body to get a bit of relief, only to get up and clean my home and re-injure myself all over again. I was desperate to feel better. I saw doctors and was prescribed multiple cortisone shots and prescription pain reliever’s which made it difficult to concentrate and work. I started searching for an alternative and found out about Stott Pilates. I found a great private studio in my neighborhood, booked a class and the rest was history! That was a little over 10 years ago and it has truly transformed not only my body; but my overall health. Through Pilates I have more energy, I strengthened my body and was able to get off all prescription medications. I gradually lost weight and practiced better eating habits. I went from a size 10 to a size 2!!! I was impressed to see the actual results in my own body and feel so much better. Now I’ve decided to become a licensed Pilates trainer and open PILATIBODY, my own Pilates brand. I am obtaining my certifications from Body Center, one of the top 10 programs in the nation. It was a journey that took time, but it was worth it. Nothing is more important than your health. I know how it feels to go through life hurting and masking pain. With 10 years of experience as a client myself, I am now obtaining my certification to soon offer in person training, and to help create a fitness plan that will help you reach your goals. . We will work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals.
